This is possibly the greatest thing pokemon has done. For me, I really like immersion after I've played the game a few times through pretending it's the character, and the fact that you can now change clothes just totally ups the feeling of immersion.

I can see this becoming one of, if not the best, top selling pokemon games

the real thing I need to know is will this customization show up in union rooms and wifi battle screens. I hate that you need to choose an avatar of an existing trainer type and then you cant even use it in the battle screen

i'm 99% sure that the customization will show up in multiplayer. the only reason they made you choose an npc avatar before is so everyone wouldn't look like the same two male/female main characters. that's not an issue anymore

well that's how it is in real life after all
usually only white people have any color eyes besides brown
