I really want an Ursaring, but I can't get one. Can't find wild Teddiursa in Platinum without Emerald (which I don't have), not in HeartGold, not in Black 2 until the late late late laaaaate endgame after some ludicrous sidequest...

If you had XD Gale Of Darkness you could catch him in the beginning of the game. Every playthrough my Ursaring was always the highest level.

The Underground was fucking awesome.

Digging for fossils, shards, and stones was some of the best fun I've had in a pokemon game. It was so strangely addicting, and it had real benefits and rewards to your work. The Secret Base element was a nifty adaption of what was originally introduced in Hoenn, and it was a phenomenal way to work in all of those items.

I was rather disappointed when it didn't return in B/W. Odds are it'll be forgotten from X/Y, too.

If it's one thing GF does wrong it's including good/fun things and then getting rid of them in the next game.

I miss my hidden bases from emerald, underground didn't feel the same and I haven't been able to go to dreamland or whatever it is in b/w yet, also the way the touch screen was in HG/SS was really good, but no they didn't keep that, instead we got c-gear/pokewatch.

GF certainly can't make up their minds.
