So /vp/, I have a serious concern. What is even the point of having Defense/Special Defense and HP stats? In theory, a Pokemon with higher defenses and high HP should be harder to KO, but apparently, all Pokemon die in one hit, given you use a move that the enemy isn't resistant to.

I've seen Yu-Gi-Oh cards that still are in play after one direct attack ffs.
