I actually really like when developers put in menial inclusions like this. It doesn't so much "expand" the gameplay as make the world seem just a little more real. I especially enjoyed being able to "get into" beds in RSE.

I hated benches in the other games so much but that probably because I missed "sitting" on chairs in earlier games and getting into beds in gen 3 games.

I loved ho in gen v, there was the option to push a button on the side of the elevator to open it instead of just walking into it, so it was more like an actual elevator

This is terrible of GF. Some autist out there is going to spend hours and hours to sit in every bench spot in the game now.

They are probably nicer than me though. If I was in charge, I would put a single bench out of reach and even have some NPCs give fake clues on how to possibly reach that sacred bench, but nothing would actually work.
