Anyone else prefer this little bro to all the starters? Here's hoping he has a 3 stage evo line so I can use him as a pseudo starter.

Luckily Pearl had Luxray since it's starters were complete shit.

Unfortunately I didnt use any other pokemon but Luxray since all of the pokemon in that game sucked

Gen II starters weren't great, but they were slightly better than Gen V I'd say. Gen V felt like they were trying to make the starters weak. Samurott was the only reasonably useful one, and it was still boring.

I'm going in fully blind apart from the pokemon that are used in marketing, so I'll base all my team decisions on how I meet pokemon in the wild. I plan for my first Y playthrough to be as similar to my first Blue playthrough as possible in terms of freshness and lack of knowing the world. Sue me for liking Panbro.

I liked him until I seen the separate wing-tufts on his back. Same goes with Helioptile's pointless triangles. Also, the fucking unnecessary spot on Chespin's head. Gogoat and the bird are looking like the only cool guys out of what we have so far that don't have designs that've gone overboard.

But since he is fighting, if Froakie turns out to be Fighting as well I'll have a tough choice to make.

The Timburr line disappointed me. I liked Timburr, but it's evolutions looked pretty bad when I first saw them, and still do.
