The standards changed with HG/SS, now we don't have to wait an eternity for a game to be developed, they usually announce it within the year they plan to release it. Thus we got Zorua/Zoroark within a short time before the proper info began and even now, the starters and legends were shown 4 months before the proper beginning. That's still better than waiting a year or more. You really would wait that long for info to begin? It's good that it doesn't take that long anymore, unless you live in bizarro world
