Hiro claims Fairy will be a new type that Sylveon is a part of
>His record
Leaked highly accurate drawings of Gen V pokemon before the game came out along with Melkor. Both still have connections with the magazine they worked at in the time.

>Facts
Pokebeach has a source that claims Fairy is a new type that Sylveon is a part of and also mentioned type matchups along with other information
>His record
He claims this source got the electric draining move confirmed in Corocoro correct, he also claims that the same source correctly named the four new pokemon in english. These english names are the only thing so far out of this leak that got confirmed.

Hiro also claimed that some of the other info Pokebeach had is incorrect.

Tai and Mage got ahold of the info Pokebeach leaked a month ago when the leaker made it public after Pokebeach didn't leak it himself, Tai and Mage posted it in a couple places but appear to not have any real connections with the source.

Pokemon Smash said Sylveon would not be any currently already used Eeveelotions including Normal. They did some 'tests' for its type and stated it wasn't fighting type or steel type, also stated on screen "Super Effective?!" when they were testing poison on it. The words super effective were not used at any other time during the segment.

In conclusion there is plenty of reason to believe Fairy will be a new type added, so it's not baseless when people think it is a thing. However the closest thing to conclusive evidence we have is Pokebeach claiming he got the english names and his other information from the same source. There is room for lies from him or his source, so we can not say Sylveon will be Fairy type with 100% certainty until there is an official announcement about it, or perhaps if more of the leak we already have gets confirmed.

I'm just trying to consolidate some of the relevant information with this so people know what they're arguing about, because most of the time they don't seem to.
