God put the one thing he didn't want humans to touch right in the middle of the Garden, with nothing stopping them from getting to it.
God couldn't be bothered to keep one of his creations from going rogue and tempting the humans who had no idea of right and wrong to eat from the tree.
God's way of dealing with humans becoming intelligent was to curse ALL OF CREATION for ALL ETERNITY to punish every single human that would ever exist afterward.
God then went through his emo phase where he nearly destroyed all of creation because a few thousand humans didn't kowtow to him.
God spent several years dicking around with Pharaoh and forcing him to not let the Israelites go so he could keep sending plagues on Egypt.
And that's not getting into slaughtering half of his Chosen and Special people for making a gold cow, Abraham, Lot, Sodom and Gomorrah, and all of the other shit.
