I propose that instead of a new evo, we give Farfetch'd a new move to make it more viable. Behold:

Duck Roast
Type: Normal
PP: 5
Farfetch'd roasts itself along with it's leek. This causes it to faint, but provides a succulent feast for it's team-mates, healing all HP and curing status for the party.

Interesting concept for discussion:

Dual type moves, that option to be one or the other.

As in, the AI decides what type the move should be depending on the type of Pokemon it's fighting.

Farfetch'd 2 uses Leek Slash-
On a Clefairy: It's a fighting move.
On an Oddish: It's a flying move.

Good or bad for Pokemon, and specifically the metagame?

Because they feel that all pokemon should have a useful role (early game trash mons are decent for new players, audino is good for xp grinding, etc.) The issue with Farfetch'd is that by the time you get it, it's useless for all purposes.
