If we're gonna complain about that kind of thing let's look at Feebas or Gible in Platinum.
>>12345747Completely agreed. I feel like if we're in a different area, we should be encountering different types that are similar. Like you're gonna get similar species if you're in a forest or something, but don't just copy+paste the same encounter list. B2W2 were a lot better about doing this with caves, (Chargestone Cave, Seaside Cave, Great Chasm, etc.) but there's still like 5 caves where you get nothing but Boldore, Woobat, Excadrill.
I do feel like there's a frustrating habit of throwing in stuff like Feebas/Gible like I mentioned above when there's NO logical reason to think it's there.
With Gible, you have a separate portion of a cave you've already been in and there's no reason for you to look for it. Also, that part of the cave was goddamn bullSHIT to find. I refuse to believe anyone found that without a guide.
