Around...I'd like to say 2006 or 2007 or so, an admin of Pokebeach hacked the website, effectively shutting it down. WPM got back onto it saying that he gave up on the site. He later found motivation and revived the site, slowly restoring it to its former 'glory'.
Fast-forward to 2010 or 2011 or so. WPM gets accepted into college and posts an article saying that he never once gave up on PokeBeach.
He's intelligent, and obviously knows how to 'brainwash' his fans. His ego is just getting to him like it has many times in the past.
