I think most people see it as just another variation of the DS, so they're hesitant to switch. In reality it's a whole new console, and the switch to X/Y's gameplay is a bigger step up than R/B to B2/W2 is.

I highly doubt they'll be able to make a 3DS emulator anytime soon. Heck, we're still not really much into DS emulation.
Even if/when we do get 3DS emulation, it won't be in 3D or anything.

Are there any available contrary pokemon besides Spinda?

I don't think DW Serperior has released yet. Of course even then, he only has 1 attack to make use of. I hope Gen 6 is kind to Serpy and actually gives him some half-decent moves to work with.

I love it when people think they know what my sableye is going to do next. They think I'll taunt and instead I burn. They think I'll burn and instead I'll trick a lagging tail to them. This is just one more move for my arsenal of unpredictability.

And I'm so happy about it. Sableye has been one of my favorite pokes since I first caught one back in Sapphire. Such a cool guy, but his stats were downright terrible and he was relegated to NU. Then GF trolled me by giving him the absolutely worthless stall ability in Gen IV and giving us spiritomb, a dark/ghost that totally outclassed sableye.

I love that I'm able to use Sableye in Gen 5 with prankster, and this will truly be the story of the little engine that could if he gets an evolution and kickass new moves like parting shot in Gen 6.

Most of the time you wouldn't want it to be prankster since that would mean if they used a similar move like U-turn that they would get switch initiative, and since Sableye is a wall you'd probably rather him take a hit than whatever you're switching in.

Besides, Sableye is far from a wall. Look at its awful second-evolution-tier stats. Your Salamence would take a hit better 90% of the time.

But Contrary Shuckle + Shell Smash is basically just Shuckle + Cosmic Power.

Shuckle's attack stats are already so embarrasingly low he shouldn't even begin to be running offensive moves.

All it costs him is speed, and he hardly has or needs THAT, either.

In the end, Contrary + Shell Smash = +1 Def and +1 SpDef per turn of use.

Plus, he gets Power Split, which means he essentially cuts the opponents Atk / SpAtk in half in a turn, too.

Okay, so I'm a slowpoke and didn't even know there were pokemon that aren't available in Dream World yet when they have hidden abilities. Just looked up a list and realized I've been going for pokemon that were never available to begin with.

Is there any pattern or idea at all to when new pokemon are added? Serperior's actually one of the ones I've been wanting.
