I dont see any reason it couldn't be called Light here in the US
GF could easily do the same thing they did with Evil and Dark
It just seems really unlikely to me that they would actually call it Fairy.
Magic or Light sounds more plausible.

Because for one, light and fairy aren't the same damn thing. Not even close. Dark and evil are at least the same idea. Same with esper and psychic.

But a Magic or whatever type in Pokemon would be on the assumption that magic is real... Because in the Pokemon world, it is real.

There's no reason that 'Light' couldn't be used to describe the 'Holy' and 'Saint' like aspects to the word as opposed to actual physical light.
