2+2=4. There's going to be a new fairy type. Or perhaps just like how "evil type" became dark type when translated to english, fairy might be changed as well, but it's still the same thing. It might be called mythical/mythic/myth type or sprite type or fable type or magic type, whatever. These are all just words referring to the same thing, in this sense.
