Alright, there have to be people like me out there who are sick of hype, sick of fairywars, sick of type discussion about Sylveon, sick of just about everything relating to the buildup to X and Y and would like to just let things be and take things as they come.

Let's all come together and have a thread where we share some of our favorite Pokemon memories. I know we'll all look back at this time sooner or later with some degree of fondness, but for now I think we could use some distraction from it all.

I'll start us off.

>be in third grade, get and play the fuck out of Blue version
>four years younger little brother always watches me play
>few years down the road, get Gold version
>little brother is now old enough to play a gameboy as well, gets one and Silver for his birthday
>we play the shit out of them, catching stuff, finding the cloning glitch, trading over my Mewtwo and cloning it so we both have one

>another few years down the line, I get Sapphire and he gets Ruby, at this point he's started to learn some strategy so it's not always a one sided fight in my favor when we battle
>we complete the Pokedex
>little sister is a maybe 3 at this time
>Diamond and Pearl come out, I get Pearl and bro gets Diamond
>later on he upgrades to an XL and gets Platinum
>convince him to give ten years younger little sister his old DS and Diamond
>at this point I've moved out
>we all play when I come to visit
>I get HG, bro gets SS and we rock the fuck out of that nostalgia
>black and white come around
>all three of us play all the time
