You know, for these kinds of things I just like to make up the most outlandish things ever so no matter what's revealed, I'm not disappointed.
>Smash airs.
>Masuda shows up at beginning, says there will be a big announcement at the end of the show.
>Show goes by with everybody waiting in anticipation.
>Gets to the end.
>Masuda shows up. >Announces that because of the recent leaking scandle he has lost complete faith in Pokemon and all his staff members.
>Has officially disbanded the Pokemon team halfway through development of X/Y
>They never start it up again.
>Ex-employees manage to sneak the unfinished game out but it just isn't as good as if it were finished, and no-one is capable of finishing it properly.
>We miss out on what could have been the best Pokemon game so far because of our unquenchable desire for new information and said internet demande caused people to leak excessive amounts, causing this whole fiasco.
