Also, it was at a time when Swanna and Deerling were expected to be revealed in CoroCoro. Sadfish was just thrown in to make it seem more legitimate or something and to add a little more effort.
The real scan eventually came out and had all those Pokemon revealed as well as Sewaddle and something else.
