>>12379020A search on the internet for MageLeif shows up his profiles for numerous websites including his youtube profile and various pokemon websites where he has contibuted to since the year dot, almost exclusively on pokemon matters.
Basically the guy is pokemon obsessed (and for that he deserves a pat on the back), HOWEVER...
Consider the odds that his roommate would, by chance, just happen to be a playtester. Now anyone who has tried to live out their childhood dream like that will know how damn near impossible it is to get a job doing that, the games companies get thousands of people applying for just one job.
Now consider that, by pure chance MageLeif's roommate managed to luck out and not only is he offered a job testing games for nintendo, but it's actually testing pokemon XY, the very game that MageLeif would be obsessed by!
What are the chances?
Add to that that the room mate must have had to sign an NDA at the risk of their job, which would have been one of the most difficult ones to get in the world. Would you really risk all that by telling your blabbermouth pokemon obsessed friend everything about it?
No, you would not.
I think what actually happened was MageLeif just panicked that his fake leaks were getting believed by so many people that there was no way out of it for him without loosing face. So he invented the 'playtester room mate & NDA from Nintendo" story to get out of the situation.
there probably was no room mate, or if there was he was not really a play tester, and there is no NDA from nintendo other than one MageLeif might have knocked up himself on MSWord to add authenticity to his bullshit.
