Bishonen is pronounced almost like "bichona" (just use the Japanese-and-rest-of-the-world "a" in place of "en", anglofags), which is Portuguese slang for "HUGE FAGGOT".
So it did fit quite fabulously with Star Driver, for example. "GINGA BISHOUNEN" makes us think of "GIGA HUGE FAGGOT", and it was perfect if you know Star Driver.
