>>12383934>>12383984Okay just to shut you up:
>Monsters that you level up and fight for youThe level up thing is because ALL RPGs do it, the fighting comes from the toys that were fighting pets, neither is a rip-off because it had been done before and it's still done in other games too (ie Pikmin).
>Digital world where those monsters come from-Digimon is an Anime franchise and a spin-off from Tamagochi, the concept of "digital monsters from a digital world" came from the anime to explain why they are digimon (it's because they were originally toy monsters from digital devices, duh).
-In SMT, those digital monsters are actually real demons; In Pokémon it's all real.
>Said monsters evolve into different forms or you can fuse them together into different forms. It's the same as fusing weapons in other games, it's also done in Monster Rancher IIRC.
>All it has are elements from previously established franchises. Tell me what the fuck it does so differently that it's not a rip off.Because:
-When Digimon came on, Pokémon wasn't an established franchise.
-Digimon is NOT a videogame franchise, it's an anime franchise with various liscenced products like videogames, and not all of them are RPGs
-As said before, Digimon expanded on the virtual pet concept; Pokémon was ACCORDING TO SATOSHI TAJIRI based on Final Fantasy.
-If anything, Digimon was more original than SMT and Pokémon because it was its own standalone product and not a videogame that depended on someone else's console system to be played or that borrowed tons of elements from other games.
Also, I can tell you're a troll because you're very good at it.
