Compared to the e4 battle theme you had heard for the last four battles and even Steven's sexy encounter theme (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8DNfeA4LEcE) the battle theme itself was really disappointing.
3rd gen is still my favourite overall on most accounts, including soundtrack:
