That sucks. If ash is blaming a pokemon for something you know he's going to eventually relent and apologise. I want iris to go for real dammit.

Don't forget that in the short for the third movie (aka, some point in Johto), the plot had to do with the one year anniversary of when Ash met Pikachu.
