So, I want to get some opinions. So Ash is facing the Champion of whatever region right now. Whatever that's not the point I guess. Put together Ash's best possible team. Pidgeot, Butterfree, Lapras are unusable clearly Gliscor is usable, still don't know if he's in training or back at Oak's, haven't watched end of DP and BW at all yet Anyways, I'll start. Let's get the obvious ones out of the way.>Charizard...clearly, probably best pokemon Ash has, inb4 haters >Pikachu...obvious one, should be his most powerful pokemon, but writers hate him >Snorlax...durable fucking beast >Sceptile...not much to say except he's pretty damn good >Infernape...powerhouse >6? >Possibly Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Gliscor, Muk, The boss of the Tauros Did I forget any?

>Needs to come up with a team >Already chooses 5 of the Pokemon

In all honesty, I think it should go like this:>Infernape >Pikachu >Swellow >Krookodile >Snorlax >Sceptile He should have the following Pokemon on standby, just in case he learns something new about the Champion or something:>Glalie >Kingler >Muk >Charizard Also, how the fuck has he not tried to evolve his Gible yet? Kid has NO idea what he has at Oak's lab, does he?

His Primeape is undefeated. Infernape his his best sweeper Snorlax is his best tank Pikachu is the mascot Kingler is pretty great And Tauros. I'd want torterra on there, but he is just ash's fall guy.

His hoenn mons are damn good. Glalie defeated a Metang, and Swellow never lose before it takes out the first pokemon it's against; it's a shame that Sceptile is a shit

>Infernape >Kingler >Snorlax >Gliscor >Heracross >Pikachu Torterra, Charizard, Muk and Krookorok as subs.

Let's say Ash battles Cynthia (Platinum Team):>Swellow: Cynthia leads with Spiritomb as in the games, burns Swellow and Guts activates. Even if Spiritomb uses Double Team the bird just hits hard and accurate with Areal Ace.>Pikachu: Ash's favorite and obvious choice against Milotic, since Sceptile and Torterra are afraid of Blizzard/Ice beam. Pikachu also works well at taking Togekiss.>Infernape: Roserade has good special defense, so the physical flare blitz is way better than Charizard's flamethrower.>Charizard: If I remember clearly Cynthia's Lucario drops stone edge for psychic, and the rest of it's moves are neutral or not very effective on Charizard, so it's a good Choice.>Snorlax: The 4 pokemon mentioned before will most likely lose to Cynthia's Garchomp, so Snorlax is there to bulk all it's moves and heavy damage with Ice Punch.>Glalie: Desperate option is case Snorlax fails to defeat Garchomp. Any way, Ash will never come with an strategy like that, and even if he does he'll still lose due to lack of a steel-type pokemon. That's my opinion.
