And obviously, the status is a patch of pixels seen from one angle with no dimensions or depth to it. Obviously in the manga they have more artist capabilities. I personally accept Dialkia as our new Lord and Savior.

Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, and Arceus are extra-dimensional beings. They're blatantly designed to look the part.

They actually remind me of some of the abstracts from the Marvel and DC universe, like the Anti-Monitor, Galactus, etc... things look crazy and ridiculous as a means of visually displaying their cosmic nature.
