It's a monkey that uses the element of water. There are much worse designs than that. For me, it'd be Exeggcute. Exeggutor is fine, but Exeggcute is literally just a cluster of eggs. It doesn't even branch off from normal eggs besides the fact that they have faces. It's not even aesthetically pleasing to look at to make up for its horrible design.

I actually like all of these. The only one I really don't like the design for is Rhyperior. It's mostly the arms. They're too much.

This nigga has the possiblity to inflict the most damage in the game (of course it takes a few stat boosters but still). To make Shuckle amazing is easy. This nigga has an amazing defense and special defense base so no need to worry about that. Average HP. All you gotta do is EV train his speed and attack/sp attack. I've swept competivly with this nigga more times than I can count.

Yeah, I really loved the concept behind Spoink and added one to my team as soon as I picked up Gen 3. I do wish Grumpig continued the concept, but I think the idea was that of a child growing up and surviving their pediatric heart conditions, either by medicine and/or surgical intervention.

Then as I got older I realized Japanese fiction likes to feature kids with some sort of heart condition.
