I'm playing Blaze Black 2 on Challenge Mode and Cheren's kicking my ass.

I like that Drayano made it harder, but was it really necessary to put 6 pokemon on a Gym Leader that early on in the game?

OP here, I managed to beat Cheren once the game stopped bullshitting me with criticals and sing landing all the time.

I feel like I lost my edge due to putting Pokemon down for a long time.

Cheren is a cunt in this hack. Luckily I found Burgh not nearly as frustrating as he was in Blaze Black 1.

Somewhat related, I've resumed Volt White 2 again after ditching it for a good while out of boredom and I plan on overhauling my current team to respark my interest;

I'd like to keep Starmie and Golurk, and I wanna try a Bisharp out too. Any suggestions for the next 3 spots?

I used Bisharp instead of my starter and he's a lot of fun. If you can, breed one with Sucker Punch and trade it over for double the experience rate.

Yeah, Cheren and Roxanne are absurdly difficult for the point in time that you fight them. I had to rely on the AI making stupid moves in order to safely take them down.
