Due to it's nature, the anime cannot be salvaged. Everything it has to do makes it too limited for creating something unique and worthwhile. True, the standards could be changed, but they have no reason to. To change it would be too much of a risk, and they would collapse if stressed to make two different anime at once. The only recourse is fanfiction. Only there can the pokeworld be what you want it to be.
