The current version of tepig's line is kind of crappy compared to the other two (Best version was in bb/vw 1)
Snivy line is super mediocre up until the end of the game when you get leaf storm/draco meteor, when it becomes ludicrous
Oshawott's line is consistently very solid and versatile throughout the game, and peaks well with shell smash
Alternatively, you could use overgrow snivy instead of contray and use coil very effectively, at the cost of the endgame potential provided by leaf storm/draco meteor
