I'd love to see the anime turn into something like Macross Frontier (with Sugimori's style of course) cause it had the perfect balance of action, drama and dialog and it's still colorful without going into the haflassed crayon-looking backgrounds the Pokemon anime has.
Of course this would mean they would have to reduce the amount of episodes they have for each season, from their 150 average to around 30.
It's unbelievable funny how cheap the Anime looks.
