I know, I know, it's boring.
And sceptile is my favorite.

A water gym, in a room surrounded by huge aquariums, sorta like the Marine Tube. The floor would open up into a large pool.

My team would be Starmie, Kingdra, Ludicolo and Quagsire. Level 47-50

Gym is a Giant Wheat Field/Maze, the gym leader is a farmer. His team isn't a single type instead he concentrates on Pokemon that learn Slash Variations and even more on ones that have scythe like appendages.

I have more to his story but it just brings him into Mary Sue territory.

My room. The gym would be an apartment complex, they'd have to go room-to-room trying to find me, then when they found my room.

I'd have my Pokemon ready in my battle room, and command them from my actual room via computer, watching the battle take place with a webcam. My face would be on a screen behind them or something.

Ghost Gym, in a dark cave between two towns.
There are no actual wild Pokemon but you can run into "random" battles with Ghosts, they run away after 2 turns and heal 5-10% of their health but can be ran into again. After you beat all of them lanterns at the edge of the cave light up and you find the badge embedded at the back of the cave.

A ferry navigating a river in a marsh/jungle. The deck of the ship has a pool with greenish water with big water lilies growing on it where the battling stage is. All challenges are held during a trip through this beautiful locale. The Pokemon of choice would be Water types with Ludicolo, Azumarill and Slowbro as the main stars.

There is a big hole in the middle, which leads directly to the sea outside. The main stars are Gyarados, Starmie and Sharpedo.

I hope in Gen 6, they implement secret bases again. And they completely beefed up the whole idea, and now you can actually turn your secret base into a gym.

You can choose to hang out at your gym and random trainers will keep coming along to challenge you while you're there. You can also completely deck your place out in traps and decorations and such

And mixing records (which will now happen passively during any online/wireless interaction) will result in the other player having your gym in his world. He can then challenge and possibly defeat your gym, earning a badge. You'll be able to keep a badge collection of all the badges obtained in this way, and see things like their name/ID number, when you beat them, etc.

I figure taking advantage of the various Fighting Hybrids for the first 4 trainers (Poliwhirl, Toxicroak, Breloom, a Fire/Fighter) to signify that even though its a Gym, its a training facility too, and the E4 having different type themes

Main leader however has a more standard fighting team, probably along the lines of Machoke, Hariyama, Conkeldurr, and a Gen6 Fighter

Psychic Type Gym Leader, based on a would be/failed circus magician. The gym would be a slightly shabby theatre/cabaret kind of place, with apprentice magicians as the trainers. Champion would be a high tech super genius type, who combines pokemon training with technology. He'd show up periodically during your adventure, helping you battle once or twice early on when you're still weak, and every time he shows up he gives you a new gadget for whatever your equivalent of the pokegear is, gushing about it enthusiastically all the while.

When finally battled, he'd be in a room full of monitors of all shapes and sizes where he'd explain he's constantly watching out for strong trainers like you, and his camera-bots have seen some of your finest battles, followed by some of your gym battles showing up on the screens. He'd talk about how he's so excited to fight you himself after seeing your strength grow all this time, and then you'd throw down.

The team would consist of Porygon-Z, Rotom, Metagross, Klingklang, Reuinculus and Magnezone.

Simple concrete building, covered in Graffiti, only indication that it's a gym is the little sign out front
Concrete floor, very little in the way of decoration.
No gym trainers to fight, just a straight line to me, sitting on the floor, smoking a pipe, probably.
I'd use Dark types, and use every underhanded tactic in the book to win, teaching trainers that trying to fight fair is pointless.

I would be determined, but not reckless. my room would be cloaked in complete darkness, and as more pokemon are defeated (Either theirs or mine) More lights come on, illuminating the battlefield.

I'd likely get an ego I'd try to suppress. I'd stilll fight the same way, using underhanded and dirty tactics to win, but I'd be a lot more sure of myself.
