Wow. Horrible for pretty much everything up to the E4. I'm disappointed.

Once you get Fire Blast, you'll have a great sweeper. You'll probably get to it before Growlithe can learn Flare Blitz, just saying. After you fix his movepool, Volcarona will be a total rape train.

I'll just shelve it until I can get that Flamethrower or Fire Blast TM then. I want to use it for the PWT afterwards too (although I might have to breed it first because this one has a Quiet nature)

Simipour has better offensive stats and in my experience has played better than Swanna, not fearing rock-types and such. Swanna is mostly a convenient HM slave for me.

That's not to say either of them are that great, though. Most people tend to choose Jellicent as a water-type.

You should atleast be able to train him properly using the join avenue to reduce the EVs of stats you dont want and train the right ones yourself

Volcarona needs to be extra fast and strong because it doesnt have much defense. I prefer a Bulkier Volcarona with Quiver Dance

I just found out if I had killed it I could've caught it post-E4 at level 65.

Oh well, now I have TMs for it, I'm going to run through Black Tower again with lower level Pokemon since it was so easy with the team I used.
