With the exception of umbreon, which couldn't really have black eyes because it was already black itself, they all have dark background with a white pupil. The whole gimmick of the eevee evolutionary chain is that eevee evolves into similarly looking pokemon with differing themes depending on their type. sylveon just looks out of place...
