Personally I never talk on anything with a global chat. If everybody on the site can heard you and you can hear everybody on the site then you are pretty much guarantee to have circlejerking of some kind no matter what the game.
Learn to become a mute monk by default. The fact you talk enough to get muted in the first place most likely mean you are an attention whore which is a habit you should want to get rid of anyway.
The only way to win is to not play the game in the first place in this case.
Talking one on one or in a private group is fine but when talking to everyone on the whole site all at once then you can only expect to piss someone off by random chance. In short it is your own fault.
