Oh, hey /co/. These last couple of "what I caught/expected/got" threads have got me thinking.
What are a couple of examples of great Pokes that can completely steam-roll the game they're in, and can usually be caught early on?
We all know that, due to Gen 1 mechanics, Alakazam pretty much breaks Red/Blue/Yellow in two, second only to Mewtwo/Mew. Are there any other examples of this happening in the other gens? Any Pokemon you started to use, expecting to replace after a couple of gyms, only to find they completed carried your team? Share examples, stories, whatnot.
