Between the five generations of the main series, which games would you say are the hardest, and which would you say are the easiest?

All of them are challenging to a certain degree, but I'd say Generation V easily had the highest fair challenge and Generation II had some cheap difficulty to it. I don't have a lot of firsthand experience with Generation III, to be honest. If I had to be direct in saying which was easiest and which was hardest, I'd say Red/Blue and Diamond/Pearl tie for easiest, and Gold/Silver and Black/White tie for hardest.

But that's just me.
