The force this time was enough to knock the person back the energy from the psychic attack spreading everywhere... knocking Zegen away as well, keeping his next strike from hitting home, yet the man barely seeming to notice it though. The hand, penned against the console seemed to glow from the thunderbolt attack, the electricity from the attack, as well as the console it had rammed her into causing it to almost look energized as it squeezed closer around her more energy surging through the gauntlet at this rate it'd be impossible for her to get free.

The exploding metal fragments were too fast to reliably stop by any means. Apparently Weil had been overloaded... Paula's eyes went wide as she saw the fragments coming, attempting to intercept as many as she could. In the end she'd kept her friends from suffering massive damage... by soaking it up herself, the Gardevoir's rage subsiding as she collapsed. Had she done it? She didn't... couldn't know just yet.

Mike was barely on his feet himself, exhausted and badly injured. Still, one member of his team was in an even worse way. Sucking in a sharp gasp, he reached for a Poke Ball in the backpack he'd brought with him. He'd promised himself a long time ago he'd use this for emergencies only... Well, he was reasonably sure this qualified. With tears in his eyes, he held the Poke Ball up, a thin red beam shooting forth as he gave the command. "...Paula, return!"

Hal had tripped the alarms, it seemed. Damnit... The Porygon-Z would have to work fast. Come on, where were the weapons systems?! And could he shut them down in time? Not if the security system had anything to say, which it likely did.
