How many Basculins do i need to kill for 252? And why 252 and not 255?

252-100 = 152
152/2 = 76 Basculins
And 252 because you get 1 stat every 4 EVs. 252 is the last possible 4 multiplicity. You can go for 255, but it'll be waste of 2 stat points.

You forgot one thing though, Basculin gives 2 Speed EV, either you are only counting it as one or you are forgetting the Macho Brace.

Counting the MB it's just 38 Basculin.
