Why do people think Gen II is the best

Yeah and? Johto alone is by far the worst region with little to no variety, stupidly leveled wild Pokemon making you grind endlessly, and Kanto is mostly a cut down version of the original with even more nothingness than in Gen I.

Yes it was great, but that alone doesn't save this gen from being terribad.
