Dusclops got an evo and Banette didn't
Scyther got an evo and Pinsir didn't.
Magmar and Electabuzz got evos and Jynx didn't
Mantine got a preevo and Skarmory didn't

I'd love a Sableye evolution though. One of my favorite pokemon. I'm already content with prankster making him usable in Gen 5, but if it got even more powerful, that'd be great.

No, fuck off. Your reasoning holds no water, just because it appears as a minor character in a movie that we know little about doesn't make it any more likely than Farfetch'd evolving. In fact, the only thing we know about that Sableye is that it "appears somewhere in the film." If it were going to evolve it would get more attention than just a passive appearance in the background of a few movie posters.

Of course, even if mawile getting an evo did guarantee sableye getting an evo, there's still no indication that mawile is getting an evo either.

I don't find it hard to pull off. I mean, I don't always screw over 2 pokemon like that, but I'll almost always fuck over one. Added bonus when I swap lagging tail for leftovers.

As for movepool, I usually run trick/taunt/wow/recover. I guess I'd probably use foul play otherwise.

In Pikmin 2 one of the treasures is called "silencer" and is a creepy dolls head that sells for 666 poko (changed in the English releases.)
they are fully aware of 666 and other Nintendo games have even referenced it before.
