I keep hoping that one day my luck will change, but I've been playing since Gen 1 and still haven't found a shiny outside of ones that are spoonfed to you.

Sorry OP but people like that irritate me to no end. Always follow through to the end, you'll never know what happens. I've been victim to sweeps numerous times, reduced to 1 v 5 and end up victorious.
