ITT: Pokemon that are most likely to get an evolution in gen 6.

I think we can all agree that a Sawk/Throh pre evolution is going to happen and maybe another evolution like they did with Hitmontop.

I can't really see them adding to the Sawk/Throh lineup. Although mentioning the Hitmon line, I could see a Special-oriented addition at some point.

Not really an evolution but I suspect that they're going to add another monkey to the Pansage/sear/pour trio. Gamefreak seems to like those monkeys a lot. It'll probably be electric type

Dunsparce -- most people don't know that it's a snake.
Mightyena - needs it since it's useless (also the fact that they'll need a regional wolf/dog anyway.
Fearow evo - (when i first played gen 1 i thought it evolves into zapdos via thunderstone) original angry bird needs the evo since it has useless abillities and is frail.

I didn't like that either. Whilst I didn't mind the designs and there are quite a lot that I like, I thought it was odd that they re-used ideas and similar concepts for certain Pokemon. So far Gen 6 doesn't seem to have any copy-cat Pokemon and hopefully it will stay that way.

Dunsparce has gotten a little attention recently, he's going to be in a new episode in the anime and even had a plush toy made of him out of the blue. It may not mean anything, but it is weird he is getting attention now. A lot of people want him to have an evolution.

I personally liked the ideas of mirrored Pokemon. B/W were supposed to be like reboots of R/B and they did pretty good. I personally think it was so genwunners and people who quit playing until now to find common ground.

I'm not sure, I love every generation but I don't see a point in replicating old Pokemon. People who say that anything after 151 is not a real Pokemon say that because of nostalgia, not because they actually care about the designs. They want the old Pokemon back as they are the ones they feel most attached to, not new ones that look like them. I understand what you are saying though. Maybe I am wrong and it did work in bringing old players back?

I don't really think of BW as a reboot, I always think it's really odd when people say that. Other than the copy-cat Pokemon there isn't much similar to gen 1, at least I didn't think so. The rest of the game played pretty much like any other gen with its own quirks. I thoroughly enjoyed playing White, but I'm glad the game had its differences still.

Sawk/Throh, like many gen 5 pokemon, are direct parallels to gen 1 pokemon. In their case, Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan.

Following the intentional similarities, I would expect a third related pokemon and/or a baby over an evolution for either.
