Explain me this, if the trainer isn't writing the pokedex, who is? The pokedex? Thats dumb or the professor. Which is dumb as well, because that means the pokedex is already full and has all the info on the pokemon.

Is this another one of those "different camps" things, because if you want to use the dex as hard evidence for everything, then you cannot make fun of how extraordinary it's information is. If you do think it's too ridiculous to believe, then why do you use it as hard evidence to begin with? It shouldn't be valid. So it appears that the Dex entries made available to kids are but a generated gobble-de-gook while the entirely viable data remains stored on the internal drive - ready for the professors to extract and take credit for, while kids amuse themselves with senseless asspulls or captain-obvious -tier 'trivia'.
