Status effects end after 5 turns.
Multiple hit moves nerfed as fuck.
All 649 Pokemon.
All starters, eevee, axew, and pikachu available.
Teammates won't use moves that also hurt you.

An actual conclusion to the story for one.
They (actual spoilers) destroyed the manifestion of negativity even though it can regenerate when enough pokes are feeling down again. They also failed to find out who's behind all this and the reason for creating the bittercold. Not to mention a way to completely get rid of the bittercold.

Also a longer post game, a zoomed out camera, larger rooms, faster text speed, more pokemon and a reason for why they included a green and purple window theme.

You have to understand that their world is even shittier than ours. Getting rid of negativity altogether would essentially be impossible in their world, and add that to the fact that a physical manifestation that could potentially destroy their world is allowed to exist. Just assume that the Rainbows of Hope will truly do their job, and will allow for the conclusion of negativity in that one spot in their world.

I never said it was a bad thing, just that it takes WAY too long in EoS. I do, however wish that you had a choice to do it or not. Frankly, I hate having to have to reset 15 times for the ability to use the Pokemon I want to use. I liked the small humorous bits, but the only way it could have any value to me is if I use it as a randomizer.

That wasn't the point of the quiz. The quiz creates a deeper connection between the player and player character by assigning a player character based on the player's personality.

Yeah except it was a fucking failure, I tested it by answering honestly every time and got a different pokémon each time. They randomize the questions so much it's practically a random selection, it has nothing to do with your ~special and unique~ personality. It's a pointless waste of time.

Lol who cares if it was fun? And for a lot of people it was.
Besides that every time I played Red/Blue or Time/Darkness/Sky and I answered truthfully I always got Totodile. Maybe just luck, but go figure.

Well sure some of the questions were pretty funny and it was neat the first time around since I was lucky enough to get the pokémon I wanted but all subsequent times I wasn't lucky enough and it was just a hassle. I guess the best way to please both parties is to make the test optional or have you take the test and at the end it asks you if you think this is the pokémon that suits you best and if it's not you can just choose another one.

It didn't always work out, but I consistently got a result that was reasonable, so I'm fine with it. It's really there to create the illusion of a deeper connection instead of an actual connection, as the questions are stupidly randomized. However, I almost always get the "timid" option, so I must be doing something right.

I payed for it, so I think I have the ability to play it how I want and have fun doing so. So, how do I accomplish this? Or, they could add a damn soft reset button. Doing this on the 3DS added about 7 seconds to every reset I had to do, and as you can believe I didn't find any inclination in how much I disliked the quiz.

The entire thing lasts for one minute, it's hardly a massive impact on the game.

Oh, and the main story was about the same as Explorers length and with far less filler and padding. Also manages to be the only story that Pokemon has ever done that was actually good. Thinking that Explorer's plot was a 10/10 masterpiece tells me you probably haven't played a game outside of Pokemon/Mario.

The low pokemon/starter count and slow text speed is a shame, but I'd be lying if I didn't think the paradise and mysteriosity features didn't make up for it for me. Switching leader mid-dungeon is also very nice.
