In first place, I didn't quote that small IQ discussion because most of it is true: Pattern recognition is considered one of the bases of human intelligence; this assertion comes from several studies, but it has not really been proven to a full extent (in the fields of the human mind, this is something that, as anyone could expect, happens very often since nobody can really tell how the human mind works without having a certain degree of doubt or ambiguity).
On the other hand, most of these discussions about asians and hispanics get reduced to overused stereotypes and generalizations. The common denominator in these discussions relates to human development, and there's exactly something called "human development index" (try looking it up). It encompasses many aspects that are often compared and discussed when these topics come up.
I don't plan on continuing this; it doesn't belong here and it's mostly frutiless to attempt a discussion. I only just wanted to point that out.
