Depends. If you're referring to the one that started sometime around 2010 and continued development (a term I use loosely) almost entirely off-site, then yes, that's dead. If you're thinking of something more recent, I wouldn't know. Actually, I'm kind of interested if there has been a more recent attempt; would they happen to have a blog/Steam/etc that you know of?
