Rock and Steel are the best types to add on to grass.
While it's annoying Fire/Fighting is a great type combination. Though I hope Fennekin isn't Fire/Fighting.

Yes Grass/Rock is good, but only if it's fast, because defenisively it's horrible - that's why I hope Chespin will be Grass/Rock.
Water is another type that works well with Grass, since it allows it to beat others waters, as well as avoid the Fire weakness.

IVs are a horrible game mechanic that need to either get out or be revamped. Make them change a Pokemon's appearance or something instead of stats. Also Hidden Power should always have base 70 power.

Gym leaders shouldn't be typed based. I don't care if the game is targeted at kids- the bosses should still be hard or at least have more than three measly Pokemon.

Fairy type is better than a lot of those other stupid fan types, like Light, Sound, Cosmic, and whatever other bullshit people make up.

Sorry, not going to happen. The games have been tending towards more and more hand-holding, starting with Emerald which included a level 70 Rayquaza, fresh ready for spoiled 8 year olds to beat the E4 with. After that it kept getting worse and worse, with infinite TMs and stuff. I bet your rival in X/Y will choose the starter that's weak to yours, lmfao.

Infinite TMs, are good though. It makes the game more convenient than easy, since the good moves like EQ, Flamethrower, Thunderbolt, etc aren't available until near the end or after you beat the game.

So many people absolutely just plain didn't use their TMs ever because so many were so useful that you didn't want to use them up on someone when someone better might show up and need it, even little kids knew that.

On the other hand, little kids aren't hesitant to use their master ball on legendaries at all, and older folks can't throw a master ball fast enough at a shiny. Kids use rare candies all the time too, while people training teams for competitive use use them all the time for rare candies.

The TM change was a necessity to stop them from being a useless feature, just like the one vendor in the entire game that sold lemonades before Gen 5. Those other items get tons of use all the time, there's no need to "fix" them.

Yeah, hopefully. Another reason why I'm not getting it is because I never really used my Wii (despite playing the Gamecube to hell) so it'd be a waste of money if the Wii U suffered the same destiny

Exactly. I got RE4, No More Heroes, Madworld and Other M (yeah, I know) for about £12 altogether. Xenoblade Chronicles is next on my list, that'll kill about 80 hours.

I hate the concept of playing a game as a nuzlocke challenge. It feels completely wrong to play this way, and abandon my pokemon in the PC if they fall. It's like I'm failing them as a trainer, when in reality it was the AI being a fucking haxxer.
The only reason I'm doing it is because it seems to be some kind of initiation ritual to becoming a true pokemon 'master' around most online pokemon communities.

I also think the Miror B battle theme is pretty bland, and the guy himself doesn't seem that interesting, but I've never played a GC pokemon game, so I can't really comment there.
