I remember that awesome Lanturn thread back in '10. It was awesome. Good old days...though that was almost three years ago, so perhaps not. I know there's a screen cap of it. I love Lanturn.

He and Porygon-Z are my top bros. I was a bit unhappy when I heard Rotom-W would be getting Lanturn/Chinchou's until-then exclusive typing and pretty much outperforming it in most cases, but at least Lanturn has some minor niche as a cleric and Volt Absorb.

I hope Lanturn evolves in Gen 6 but part of me is worried they'll make the evolution a bit too fat like Lickitung -> Lickylicky and Rhydon -> Rhyperior.

Lanturn also has Ice Beam and doesn't have to rely on an innacurate move for its primary STAB.

I've had great results using a Specs Lanturn with Volt Switch, Thunderbolt, Surf and Ice Beam.

In Gen 4 and early 5 Agility Lanturn also worked quite well, but I'm not sure it if would work now.
