Golurks were created as a last ditch effort by an ancient tribe of people to protect their land from incoming invaders.
Their last stand was at Dragonspiral tower, which is why Goletts congregate there, they can't leave their masters, even though they are long dead.
The cracks in their chests created by spears fracturing their hull.

Giratina is portrayed more often as a female when stories are passed down, though technically still genderless. Similar to how God is usually referred to as a "He"

Version exclusives hate their counterpart.
So Mandibuzz and Braviary, Lilligant and Whimsicott, and so on.

I think just seeing another living human would kick it's guardian behavior into gear.
However, another headcanon I have is that a Golurk will refuse to be caught if it's master is still around, even in the form of Yamask or Cofagrigus.

But if their master is dead and in the spirit world (Guided by Dusknoir) it will essentially wait until it can fulfill it's duty again.

Wait I thought headcanon was supposed to have some sort of basis in the game. Since when was Giratina female? By that logic it's my headcanon that all humans absolutely detest Stunfisk and hold monthly raids on their nests to try to eradicate them.

The Pokemon World is a corporate run society, and the only reason healthcare is free is because the same company that owns pokemon centers also own poke marts. Gym leaders and E4 are paid salaries by these companies, and losing trainers who pay out are kinda like tips, and supplement their income.

Battle Frontiers and Subways are owned by the company that makes battle items, and brains and masters are also paid salaries, and are the highest paid trainers in the world.

Dodrio flies by twirling its heads like a helicopter
The orignal classification for exploud and loudred were the "earrape pokemon"
Skuntank uses flamethrower by having its trainer light its farts on fire.
Golurk flies by transforming into a jet
Slowpokes arent stupid, they are smart, but choose to act stupid so they can do what they want.
Missingno was a failed attempt at creating porygon.

There was a pokemon war, but people mostly used pokemon as weapons because bullets won't kill pokemon that easily, as they will only do as much damage as a bullet punch or another steel type move. For example, try shooting a Raichu and the bullet won't even penetrate the pokemon

Kanto has really simple designs and still has small animals like dogs and birds running about because they've only just fairly recently started to evolve into Pokemon.
Regions like Unova and Hoenn are void of these animals because all their animals have evolved beyond those basic bodies.
