Dragonite just looks so, so different. Don't get me wrong, I love Dragonite too. But I kind of wish he was his own single-stage Pokemon. (Druddigan did it right, why not Dragonite)
I just love Dratini and Dragonair so much, I wish the families were split up.
I have the same opinion about Dewott -> Samurott. Samurott is just fine by me, but as an evolutoin of Dewott it just doesn't work. Dewott could have had another otter-inspired evolution and Samurott could be an unrelated, single-stage water type found in the late game.
