Mike and his team were in the command room of the space station they'd boarded, having apparently just finished off the commander of the vessel. Said commander had gotten in one last set of barbs, the explosion rocking the whole team and the trainer. Most of the team was either KO'd or close to it, with only one among them still able to put up any sort of fight. Mike was bleeding fairly heavily himself, even after accounting for all the damage his team took for him... If he didn't get out soon he might not make it out. First things first, though; this meant his main team would have to be recalled. As much as they hated it, it was an emergency... and now that the commander was gone, it was likely some sort of self-destruct failsafe would be triggered.

And the room itself was a total wreck, hardly anything could be seen in the smoke filled wreckage of the room, a small crater over the very site where the boss had been... above the lights flickered a bit in the air, the system obviously suffering some sort of damage.

But even with it's master gone the system continued it's functioning, the laser once again recharging for it's next blast.... while the pokemon attempted to hack their way through...

Of the special ops team the Hydragion was soon left as one of the few pokmeon left, several suicidal actions having healed it up as it faced them down once again, having moved to cut them off from the computer room.

Hal was still busy trying to crack the station's security, looking for where the weapon controls in particular might be. The Porygon-Z needed to shut them down, and FAST, or a huge chunk of Japan was screwed. If it came right down to it... Destroying the entire station might be called for. That, or somehow going into space and attacking the weapon systems from the outside. [Standard rolls for success or failure.]

The squad was pretty wounded by now with the fighting that had gone on in the hallway. Only four of the eight they had with them were still conscious, and they were working with around two pokemon each.

Currently remaining on the field was a Cloyster, a Breloom, and two Gengar that had been held back until now. The squad was out of ammo as well.

Luckily enough, the squad head was still up, but bleeding slightly from a wound to his left leg.

"Hit him with all you can! We've almost won!"

The rest of the backup team Mike had brought with him was joining the Ops squad. They were on the losing end of the fight, it seemed. Of the team that had joined, the only members still on their feet were Sophia, one of Mike's Gardevoir, and Iori, his Weavile. The attacks smacked into the dragon harshly the entire dragon almost creaking metallically as it hovered, continuing it's outrage.... the thing looked as if it should have been dead already... but somehow it was pressing on...

The hackers made good work before getting ambushed by the core defense. A strange glowing orb in cyberspace that suddenly fired off a trio of beams towards the hackers. Zegen helped by... ripping some wires out.

Mike was having considerably more trouble getting to his feet. The combo of that impact against the wall and the exploding metal shards made every movement close to agony... until his body could simply shut the pain receptors down, anyway. Any metal shards stuck in him would have to stay there, unless he liked the idea of bleeding to death. Somehow he fought on... How much effect he'd have was unclear.

In the meantime, Hal had been blindsided by the core of the machine, and he countered with a Tri Attack of his own. Let's see how the machine liked that!

Iori had been able to avoid the Hydreigon's rampage, seeing as he wasn't the target anyway. Going for another Ice Punch, he knew this thing had to go down NOW, or else they were likely to be screwed. If it came to be that grim a situation... Sophia had orders to get as much of the team together as she could and get out, even if that meant leaving some or all of the rest to die.

The rampaging dragon managed to further wound their quickly depleting numbers. They wouldn't last much longer at this rate, but at least the dragon seemed to be finally showing some real signs of damage. It was nice to have some backup as well.

There didn't seem to be much else for Zegen to tear through, though it seemed he had weakened the charge for a second, buying them more time... Of the pokemon the Ice Punch hurt it hard, causing it to turn around and face the newcomer... it's obvious cybernetic nature much more clear now.
